Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can’t Live Without It

This toxic exposure to bromine, coupled with iodine deficiency, is surely fueling this epidemic of autoimmune thyroid illnesses.”

Brownstein adds that the treatment for goitrogen exposure is relatively simple: iodine supplementation as part of a holistic treatment regimen that includes detoxification of the poisonous halogens fluorine, bromine, chlorine, and astatine.
