Dr. Dority on the 33 Royal Principles of Health:
#5. The Perfection of the Triune

Welcome to “The Royal Principles of Health,” written by Dr. Michael Dority and presented by Selene River Press.
This fascinating series is based on the 33 principles of chiropractic identified by R.W. Stephenson, DC, PhC, in his
1927 classic Chiropractic Textbook. Dr. Dority calls these the “Royal Principles of Health” and invites you to learn
how these foundational tenets illustrate the forces of universal intelligence that guide and determine our existence.

Royal Principle #5 states: “In order to have 100% Life, there must be 100% Intelligence, 100% Force, 100% Matter.”

In certain parts of the world, it used to be that when the man of the house learned his wife was with child, he would exclaim, “I am going to be tata!” I vividly remember that day in my own life. When my wife gave me the news, I was filled with joy.

Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, we had chickens, sheep, pigs, cows, and horses. And being in 4-H, my brothers and I took care of all of them. My dad taught us everything he knew about raising the best, strongest, and most desirable animals so ours would win the purple ribbon and be crowned the grand champion at the county fair. From each prize-winning animal, we would breed another champion to increase the desirable traits and get a better, greater, and even more magnificent champion in the next generation.

The birth of the new offspring was always exciting, and most of the time it took place without any mishap. But sometimes we had to help out the mother cow, sheep (ewe), and even pig (sow) during the delivery of the little ones. This is called “pulling the calf” (or lamb, or piglet).

Under my dad’s guidance, I would first take the calf’s head and hold on. Dad would then reach into the birth canal to reposition the calf’s front leg to help it slide on through and out during the birth. The momma cow, mooing loudly, would arch her back and step forward with her hind legs, and then out slid a new baby calf. The mother cow would turn, smell, and lick the new arrival once it dropped to the ground. She’d moo again, as if to say, Will you look at that little beauty! Licking and cleaning her baby, she paid no heed to the afterbirth still hanging from her. But soon, with another contraction, out it came, and she would sniff and nuzzle it, perhaps thinking, It’s over. I did good. After my dad examined the calf and tagged its ear, he would check the afterbirth to make sure it was all intact, telling me what to look for if things didn’t look complete. Just a few minutes old, the baby calf would struggle to stand up on shaky legs, already looking for its first meal.

Year after year, calving was an utterly amazing experience. Each time, I would think to myself, What a good job I did helping the momma cow deliver her calf. A piece of cake!

Years later, I’m in the delivery room. My wife is in labor, her contractions getting stronger and more frequent. We took birthing classes, and everything went smoothly. My wife is a take control, get ’er done type, a beautifully strong and smart individual. Right up until a couple of days before her labor started, she was still walking, swimming, and riding her bike. Together, we ate healthfully, and we spoke nothing but positive words about the baby and the smooth delivery to come. (As husband and wife say and think, so it goes).

In the delivery room, supporting my beautiful wife, everything is going well. I thought to myself that this will be a piece of cake! I helped deliver baby calves for years growing up. If need be, I could even help out the OB! But it was not so. As our daughter’s head started to crown, I became faint, and a nurse lowered me gently to the floor as I passed out. The next thing I know, the nurse is telling me that I’m a “tata” with a beautiful little girl.

Each miraculous birth is a sign-post. It reveals perfection in the creation of the Life Force. Principle #5 in the Chiropractic Textbook states, “In order to have 100% Life, there must be 100% Intelligence, 100% Force, 100% Matter.”

Our nervous system conducts this Life Force to all of the tissues in our body, to then be exhibited as the manifestation of Life. By now, just a few minutes into her new life outside the womb, our daughter struggles at her mother’s breast for her first meal. Another utterly amazing experience. Looking at our daughter—her eyes and ears, her fingers and toes, her entire being—she is perfectly amazing. She is 100% Life at her birth. She is 100% Intelligence in her instinct to nurse. She is 100% Force as she suckles at the breast. And in all her cells as a newly born, beautiful, living human being, she is 100% Matter.

A newly created life must be nourished to sustain cell replication. The health of the father and mother is passed onto the child through the egg and sperm, which is where we find the basic building blocks of life: amino acids, proteins, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.

When we plant a seed into the earth, both seed and earth give up themselves to form a new creation. Thus, to create healthy, vibrant offspring who are able to grow into completeness, we ourselves need to be complete in our makeup. This is how we give up ourselves in the formation of a child. It is best accomplished by eating a whole food diet of real food, cooked and prepared the way our great papas and nanas did before the modern food epidemic came about.

My dad always made sure that the bulls and cows on our farm received the best grass, hay, and supplemental feeds so that they could produce purple ribbon, grand champion offspring. If we can do this for cows and bulls, don’t you think that husbands and wives deserve the same or even greater care? Our future children will be eternally grateful that we took a stand to create greater life and health.

Standard Process supplementation for basic male and female health:

See your Doctor of Chiropractic for the health care of your spine. This 2005 study printed in the journal Spine found that “all measures of health status showed significantly poorer scores as spinal posture deviations (Spinal Subluxations) increased.”

If you and your wife want to “score” with a healthy baby, keep your nervous system and spine in tiptop balance and health with chiropractic care and Standard Process whole food supplements.
