Dr. Dority on the 33 Royal Principles of Health:
#4. The Triune of Life

Welcome to “The Royal Principles of Health,” written by Dr. Michael Dority and presented by Selene River Press.
This fascinating series is based on the 33 principles of chiropractic identified by R.W. Stephenson, DC, PhC, in his
1927 classic Chiropractic Textbook. Dr. Dority calls these the “Royal Principles of Health” and invites you to learn
how these foundational tenets illustrate the forces of universal intelligence that guide and determine our existence.

Seed to Harvest

Royal Principle #4 states: “Life is a triunity having three necessary united factors, namely, Intelligence, Force, and Matter.”

Inside and throughout the human body, we have at our disposal two intelligences that manifest in our cells. First, we have our inborn Innate Intelligence. The body has 100 percent of this life force. It is expressed at our conception, it coordinates all of our body functions, and it stays with us until the day we die. The second is our Educated Intelligence. This we acquire throughout life—as we receive our schooling, as we pass or sometimes (like myself) fail our tests, and as we learn from our mistakes.

In basic chiropractic teaching, we view this energy as the Life Force that flows Above, Down, Inside, and Out (ADIO), manifesting as a living, functioning human being. Imagine your Life Force traveling from your brain cells to your body cells, moving over and through your spinal cord, and finally returning back to your brain. This is the Cycle of Life Force Transmission. In it, we see that intelligence is a force that moves through Matter and makes life happen. This intelligence is totally absent in a cadaver in the dissection lab. And that brings us to Principle #4.

Let’s look at the Intelligence, Force, and Matter existing in the cellular structure of sperm formed in the male testes. In my previous posts, we discussed conception. The sperm are formed in the paired testes, which lie in the scrotum. In order to do their job of making healthy sperm to carry the male genetic code, the testes require a proper nerve supply. The sympathetic nerve flow to them is extended from the thoracic spinal T12 and the lumbar L1, L2, and L3 nerve roots. The parasympathetic nerve flow is from the S2, S3, and S4 nerve roots from the sacrum. These nerves have the job of distributing that Intelligence and Life Force to the Matter of the cells of the testes. Wow, I wonder how many generations of our ape ancestors had to evolve before this got to me and my kids and grandkids?

During embryonic life, the testes develop within the abdominal cavity. At birth, they descend into the scrotum. In this way the testes receive their blood supply from the large abdominal aorta. For sperm production and vitality, the testes must be kept cooler than body temperature, so they are contained in the scrotum where heat can be dissipated. We see how the Life Force (nerve energy and control) to the testes can be adversely affected by vertebral and sacral subluxations as well as improper blood flow.

The testes produce the male sex hormone testosterone. Formed by the cells of Leydig in the testes, it’s the most abundant testicular hormone. It is regulated by the hypothalamus signaling to the anterior pituitary to release a growth hormone called somatotropin, which is made up of 191 amino acids. It is critical for us to get amino acids from the foods we eat because they are the essential building blocks of life. The starting point of acquiring health in our germ cells begins in the innate quality of the foods (Matter) we eat. We also require a healthy nervous system (Intelligence) to regulate the processes of homeostasis (Force) that occur in our body—just like Principle #4 states.

Testosterone creates the “manly man” characteristics. It provides the invigorating route you travel to becoming your most masculine self. Then what will you do? How will you show yourself a man and pass that masculinity onto your children? First of all, eat a clean, high protein diet to get all the amino acids your body needs to make the male hormones. Seek out the care of a Doctor of Chiropractic to maintain healthy nerve transmission from brain to body and body to brain.

Here is the recommended nutritional support for the “manly man”:

  • Hypothalamus PMG (1 tablet 3x/day): For the hormonal system and nervous system to communicate properly.
  • E-Manganese (1 tablet 3x/day): For the anterior pituitary and testicle communication.
  • Orchic PMG (1 tablet 3x/day): For support of testicular function.

Becoming a father is an amazing miracle of life, and these manly characteristics continue to transfer to our children through our lifestyle and dietary choices—and even our moral ones.
