Overlooked by Medical Science

Dr. Royal Lee’s prescience never stops revealing itself as modern medicine continues to stumble over the truth in places it was not consciously looking. The only amazing thing here is how long it takes and how far they still have to go to recognize the complete picture.

Mental illness and the brain/autoimmune connection was first recognized and elucidated by Dr. Lee in the early 1950s (listen to my Closed Head Injuries CD to review as well as copy his audio files from the 2nd CD provided in the set). I trust that by now all of you who have listened to this CD have been able to put this knowledge to some practical use and have recorded terrific success. I know that we still marvel (and even gasp) at what we are seeing.

Just within the past few years, we have gathered hundreds of peer-reviewed references to confirm Lee’s theory and principle. Now, from the Boston Globe comes the medical story under the heading, “When the brain is under attack: A new disease at the crossroads of psychiatry and neurology could help in the understanding of psychosis.”

“A new disease”? How could it be “new”? Did it just enter the Earth’s atmosphere delivered by a comet? Did they mean to say “overlooked by medical science since the beginning of time?”

The stories in this article are all the more tragic because of the near certainty that these people will not receive the best available help that only Lee’s understanding and developed approaches can provide.

We can all be thankful for the resources that are available to our families, clients, and of course, ourselves, made possible by Standard Process.

Mark Anderson

For five decades now, Mark Anderson has been with Standard Process, training health professionals from all branches of the healing arts in the science of nutritional therapeutics. Along with the legendary holistic pioneer Bernard Jensen, Mark co-authored the critically acclaimed Empty Harvest: Understanding the Link Between Our Food, Our Immunity, and Our Planet.

Mark compiled, edited, and published three volumes from the works of Dr. Royal Lee, the “father of nutritional therapeutics.” He also developed and created the Selene River Press Historical Archives, a one-of-a-kind vast online resource for doctors, health seekers, and researchers. Free to all, the Historical Archives preserves the immense body of work produced by nutritional pioneers of the 20th century. The collection documents the origins of holistic thinking, a philosophy that is now bearing fruit. As Mark knows better than most, so-called “new discoveries” heralded by today’s scientific press as fundamental breakthroughs in health and healing can be traced back to discoveries made decades ago—and reported in the corpus of the Historical Archives. Mark believes that unless you want to be the ninth person to be the first to discover something, you better know your history. After all, what we often call “progress” is nothing more than the rediscovery of a truth encountered—but rejected—long ago. And too bad—credit is almost never afforded retroactively.
