Nutrition, Innate Intelligence, and the Making of a Healthy Life
Healthy choices made today become healthy actions—actions based on the principles our bodies were innately created to live by. Our genetic code allows us to live within and adapt to our internal and external environments. From conception to our passing, our ability to live, grow, develop, learn, and express our creative skills and talents is quantumly empowered by a “Life Force” traveling in and through our nervous system.
We live in an environment to which we must continually adapt. Stressors are always with us, and the genetic programming we have been given allows us to express our adaptive physiology—to grow stronger, protect ourselves, survive, and prosper in health.
D.D. and B.J. Palmer taught that our ability to adapt to stressors is rooted in the nervous system, our body’s “first responder” to the internal, external, and emotional environment. Our genetic code determines our physical expression and the type of molecular environment in which our cells were created to live.
Our genetic code is not that of a crustacean; we cannot live in the ocean. We cannot fly like an eagle or live as a monkey. In the same way, our ability to express health depends upon choices that are compatible and congruent with our genetic ordering.
Our bodies must be supplied with the right and proper components for healthy cellular function. Our inborn, innate ability to express life, health, and revitalization is supplied and energized by the “food fuels” we choose to put into our bodies.
Today the human species faces an enormous burden of chronic illness and disease. It is estimated that more than half of our industrial population is chronically ill and that as much as 80 percent of the population has a chronic illness. Chronic illness has continued to rise since 1900, yet our human gene pool has not changed. Could the answer to the sickness trap we are in be our lifestyle changes?
If we do not embrace the essential components of a lifestyle that is genetically required to produce health, we compromise our body’s genetic expression of health. If health is not in you by your decisions and actions, then health cannot be released and expressed by you.
What are you associating your health with? What you think and say is what you get. Invest in the skills and knowledge of health, and you will defeat the causes of sickness and disease.
The earth provides our original beginning and doorway to living in health through the nutrition it creates and provides. Dr. Royal Lee, creator of Standard Process whole-food supplements, stated, “The body cannot make something out of nothing.”
This principle is especially important when we consider reproduction. We humans create our offspring, and the child’s body is nourished by the foods we have ingested. It is vitally essential that both mother and father be nutritionally sound and strong to produce sound, healthy, and strong offspring.
The sperm and egg are also embedded with and influenced by the neuropeptides the mother’s and father’s bodies have produced in response to their physical, biochemical/nutritional, and emotional experiences of life’s stressors. Because of these many neuropeptide stressors, the development of the baby’s nervous system is vital and paramount to nurture and enhance.
Neural tube defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly are due to a lack of folic acid and vitamin B12. Together, these nutrients are needed in red blood cell formation and are vital for the formation of DNA and gene replication. A lack of these essential vitamins impairs fetal growth and development.
Low riboflavin (B2) and niacin (B3) increase the risk of the baby developing congenital heart disease. Cleft palate is due to a lack of folic acid and vitamin A. Poor nutrition before and during pregnancy contributes to birth defects, premature birth, low birth weight, and a higher survival risk for the newborn.
And “daddy diet” affects sperm health. Thus, prenatal nutrition and whole-food supplements are a priority in the father’s prenatal preparation as well.
Our gene pool has not changed. Man is a man; woman is a woman. What has drastically changed is how our foods are grown and how they are overprocessed and devitalized, forcing our bodies to try to “make something out of nothing.”
We must return to healthy choices our bodies were innately endowed to utilize by eating a diet of real foods. It is a priority to provide the body with natural whole-food vitamin concentrates that supply the essential vitamin and mineral complexes needed for healthy genetic expression. Standard Process whole-food nutrition provides and supports the reproductive organs as well as all body systems, empowering your health and the future health of your offspring.

The foundation of life being expressed by our body is the nervous system’s ability to transmit neuro-electric impulses—electrochemical signals—from our brain throughout the body. To create a new life, your nervous system must be able to think, activate, formulate, incubate, and create the necessary physiological functions.
When our brain and body are not able to communicate, disrupted physiology and impaired health result. Spinal subluxations directly affect nerve communication between brain cells and the cells of our body tissues and organs. Impaired signaling causes impaired functioning of organs and tissues. Consumption of devitalized foods acts as a deterrent to healthy nerve and organ function in both mother and fetus.
Start early to finish healthy and strong.
Prenatal nutrition for both male and female is paramount and vital for creating a healthy child. Utilize healthy nutrition from Standard Process. Neurotrophin PMG and Neuroplex support the hypothalamus in its monitoring of the male and female endocrine systems. For the male, Orchic PMG supports testicle function. For the female, Ovatrophin PMG supports ovary health.
For both future moms and dads, the stress of life can shut down our reproductive systems through the overload of life that stresses and weakens the immune system and adrenal glands. Provide mom and dad’s immune systems and blood health with Immuplex. Immuplex supports the mother’s and baby’s immune systems.
Support mom’s adrenals with Drenatrophin PMG. Her body is now functioning under increased physiological demands while providing for the needs of the growing baby.
The fetal adrenal gland is approximately 20 times larger than the adult adrenal gland relative to body weight by the end of the first trimester. The fetal adrenal also provides steroid precursors used by the placenta to produce estrogens. Fetal aldosterone controls the mineral balance of the fetus, while cortisol promotes fetal maturation of organs and assists in the timing and onset of labor.
Mom’s adrenal glands need to be efficient and strong to maintain her strength through the sustained demands of labor.
Also utilize Catalyn for high-level vitamin and mineral support. Calcium Lactate is needed for muscle contraction so labor contractions can be maintained. Calcium is also essential for the transmission of nerve impulses and blood coagulation following the birth of the placenta.
The “Innate Principles” of Life’s authority and function in your body are governed by your nervous system and empowered by the foods you eat. We must choose wisely.
You have before you the choice of life or death. Make life and health your best friend, your buddy, your soul mate.
Just like in your garden, what have you planted? What do you want to eat? Health or sickness? What has been planted?
To defeat sickness, you have to cultivate health.
To produce a healthy next generation—and to be a healthy creator yourself—you are given Dunamis power: inherent, innate power that reproduces itself by the Life Force. You are also given delegated power called Exousia: the power of authority that you embrace to say yes or no.
We must remember that all things are possible if we believe. What we believe is then cultivated and nurtured by our decisions and actions.
Say yes to the causes of creating health in your body and in your future.
