Royal Principles:
The Power of Thought and Action Creates Your Life

In his 1910 book, The Science, Art and Philosophy of Chiropractic, D.D. Palmer stated on page 19: “The amount of nerve tension (function, action, react ability, responsiveness) determines health or disease. In health there is normal tension, known as tone, (meaning a functional baseline activity level of the nervous system to allow proper reaction/response) the normal activity, strength and excitability of the various organs and functions as observed in a state of health. The kind of disease depends upon what nerves are too tense or too slack. [He is referring to the areas of the spine where nerve pressure and impingement is located and tissues innervated.]

“Functions performed in a normal manner and amount result in health. Diseases are conditions resulting from either an excess (increased nerve stimulation) or deficiency (lack of nerve stimulation) of functioning. [e.g. Lack of stomach acid or too much stomach acid.]

“Functions, normal physiology performed in a normal manner and amount results in health. Diseases are conditions resulting from either an excess, more than needed or desirable or a deficiency, in lack of nerve functioning.”

All accomplishments, creations, and inventions begin with the first thought, and the end results are the result of actions taken on that thought. D.D. Palmer took action on the thought he had on how to correct Harvey Lillard’s deafness. Results occurred, resolving the deafness Mr. Lillard had lived with for many years. This resulted in the creation of the healing profession of Chiropractic, and the insight into the human being as demonstrated by the quote above. We and our patients are now the beneficiaries of D.D. Palmer’s creations.

Dr. Royal Lee took action on his thoughts about the causes of health. Acting on those thoughts, he invented the cold-processing method to produce whole food supplements. We are nourished from the soil, and nutrition is fundamental to our health. We and our patients are now the beneficiaries of Dr. Royal Lee’s creations.

Dr. Scott Walker took action on the thought he had and developed Neuro Emotional Technique as a physiological approach to correcting aberrant physiology resulting from stuck emotions that then interfere with our physical and mental functions. As we think and feel, our physiology follows. We and our patients are now the beneficiaries of Dr. Scott Walker’s creations.

You and I all have the ability to create the life we live by our decisions.  We are able to catalyze  results in our lives and our patients’ lives by the decisions we make. Make the decision today to increase your knowledge of the causes of health, and help others find the actions they can take to help themselves.

Palmer, Lee, and Walker made a decision to act on their extraordinary discoveries that they believed were innately inspired.  Remember, unbelief is caused by ignorance and inexperience; knowledge and truth are the cure for these. Decide. Make the decision never to stop learning. Wrong teaching and wrong education are resolved by truths and natural laws. Chiropractic and nutrition are founded on the truth of wholism and on the natural laws that govern our physical, mental, and emotional design.

Time, experience, and action bring results. Our actions today will produce our joys or sorrows of tomorrow by what we decide to create through our actions today. Action means movement, and movement is a reflection of the Life Force expressed from Above, Down, Inside, Out in every cell of our body. We must choose wisely and take action.
